3 t. butter or margarine
1 T. water
1 can (7.5 oz.) refrigerator biscuits
1/3 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- Combine the brown sugar, butter, and water in a glass pie plate. Microwave on full power 1 minute.
- Stir to melt the butter and dissolve the sugar. Stir in the nuts.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters and add to the sugar mixture. Stir to coat each piece. Push the mixture and buscuits evenly away from the center. Place a microwave-safe drinking glass in the center for even cooking.
- Microwave on full power for 2-2/12 minutes until the biscuits are no longer sticky when lightly touched. (Rotate after 1 minute if the microwave doesn't rotate.)
- Let the mixture stand for 1-2 minutes to carry-over cook before serving.
